NFL free agency is almost here, offering teams the first opportunity to improve during the offseason by signing the right players. These are my rankings and scouting reports of the top 150 free agents available. I have put in a lot of work watching film and gaining perspective from many years working in NFL personnel departments. Keep in mind, my rankings may not be the same as others, but that’s why they say Baskin-Robbins has 31 flavors.
A few notes to consider are that these rankings take into account age, but not medical or character information, as teams have more access to that kind of information behind closed doors. I’ve also included some stats at each position that I find valuable, and at times estimated play speed from what I see on tape, not timed 40-yard-dash speed.
These rankings are just one part of the multilevel process to establish consensus within an NFL team, which is missing from any rankings you’ll see, here or elsewhere. With that, let’s dive in.

Age: 26 Height: 6-5 Weight: 250
Burns meets all the criteria teams look for in free agency – young, athletic, and with a well-rounded game. He may not have had high production due to the Panthers’ scheme, but his quickness and pass rush package should translate to higher-volume production. The Panthers turned down multiple first-round picks for Burns in 2022, so the franchise tag seems likely.
Age: 29 Height: 6-5 Weight: 263
Hunter has been effective rushing the passer from different alignments and has the ability to set the edge with length. He doesn’t turn 30 until October and is a rare find for his skill set.
These are just a few examples of the free agents with detailed profiles and rankings.
